“Bugonia” is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film “Save the Green Planet!” directed by Jang Joon-hwan.
Principal photography began in July 2024 in High Wycombe, England, with additional scenes filmed in Atlanta.

Focus Features acquired the U.S. distribution rights, CJ ENM holds the rights in South Korea, and Universal Pictures is handling international distribution.
